Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026.
Amper Group Electric Service, Inc. (“Amper”, “we”) operates ampergroupinc.com. This page explains, in plain language, what information the website collects and how it is used.
Information you send us
When you request an estimate, the form asks for:
- Your name, phone number and email address (required)
- Your service type, project address or city, and project description (optional)
- Up to five optional photos or plans (JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 10 MB each)
JPG and PNG files are opened and rebuilt as new image files before storage. This removes metadata carried in the original file, including camera and location details. Large accepted images may be reduced in size.
PDFs are checked for their file signature, completion marker, password protection and certain interactive or embedded features, including scripts and embedded files. These checks reduce risk but cannot guarantee that a PDF is safe. Accepted PDFs are stored as uploaded, so please remove anything from a plan you do not want the recipient to see.
If you call or email us directly, we receive the information you choose to share.
How we use it
We use customer information to review inquiries, communicate with customers, prepare estimates, and carry out requested work.
We may share information with service providers or subcontractors assisting with the request or work, limited to what they need. We do not sell customer information.
Services that help run the website
- Hosting, database and storage: our website provider handles website requests, stores estimate details and keeps accepted attachments in private storage. The provider may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service.
- Email: after an estimate request is saved, our managed email service sends the request details and, when files were accepted, an attachment-page link to Amper’s business inbox. Replies are directed to the email address entered in the form. The recipient’s email provider also processes the notification.
- Spam protection: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish people from automated bots. Cloudflare processes technical information from the browser, including the IP address, under its own privacy terms.
- Fonts: the website requests Archivo, Manrope, Sora and Barlow font files from Google Fonts. This sends the visitor’s IP address and standard request information to Google.
To limit abuse, our application records keep a hash derived from the IP address with an estimate request and in short-lived rate-limit records. Our application does not save the raw IP address in those records. Hosting, security and other service providers may still process or log the raw IP address when they handle a request.
Attachment access
When a request includes accepted attachments, the notification email contains a viewing link that is valid for 90 days. The link is not tied to a user account: anyone who has it can view the attachment page until it expires, so it should not be forwarded or shared unnecessarily.
Each time the attachment page is opened, it creates separate photo and PDF viewing or download URLs that are valid for 10 minutes. Reloading the page while the 90-day viewing link remains valid creates fresh 10-minute URLs. Search engines are instructed not to index the attachment page, but that instruction is not an access control.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels or another third-party analytics script. The hosting platform does provide site statistics such as visits, page views, device type, general country information and referring source. A security cookie is used when the site owner signs in. Cloudflare Turnstile may use technical storage needed to complete the spam check.
How long we keep it
- Accepted photos and PDFs are scheduled for automatic deletion after 90 days, and the attachment viewing link expires after 90 days.
- Uploads from forms that are started but never submitted are deleted after about 2 hours.
- The application does not currently apply an automatic deletion schedule to the written estimate details or the IP-address hash kept with the request. Notification emails remain subject to the retention settings and practices of Amper’s business mailbox.
